Cam install quote

Hey guys,

Ive been looking at getting a cam installed into my 15 M6 ZL1. Ive seen quotes on here by people with SS's but I haven't seen a ZL1. Now obviously the SS doesn't have a supercharger on it but the quotes Ive been seeing are ranging from $1,100 at the lowest to $3,500 and that's WITH parts the highest price being a A6 trans and torque converter with parts labor and tune. Now I dont expect whatever shop I go with to be working for peanuts but I also dont know what an expected range would be. I bought a JDP cam kit a while ago so I have the entire kit to do the install minus the oil change. Ive gotten a quote from SRD motorsports in Fargo telling me about 13 hours at $1300 in labor at 100/hr. $650 for the e85/91 tune that seems normal. Redline Motorsports in Pompano beach is telling me $3690, $2600 in labor at 125/hr and $1090 for the added supporting parts and e85 tune only. Redline MTS quote below. $3690 seems a bit high anyone with experience can tell me if Im just overreacting?

3600 is a fair price, a typical cam install for an LS3 is 4000-5000 for a quality job.

If you've got the parts already, about $2,000 for install and tune is what I'd pay around here. Local shops charge around $3,000-4,000 for the whole thing, parts included (price varies depending on the shop and the components chosen, of course).
