'17/'18 ZL1 takes the W as the best looking, performing Camaro OF ALL TIME!

IMO the 16-18 rear end was the visual weak link of the Camaro. This isn’t much of an improvement in my eyes and may grow more on me. There isn’t a car that exists with the perfect look in my eyes. Either way, wouldn’t stop me from picking up any year ZL1, the car as a whole is phenomenal. Still saving my pennies for a ZL1.

I’m all for retro styling Q’s however I am always puzzled why there are design changes met with so much opposition immediately. Logic dictates if it is a failure in the very beginning when it’s introduced to the masses it’s not going to get much better. The Edsel never grew on anyone and I don’t believe this will either.

haha, the worst rear tail light design ever. Fkd it up big time. Glad I got the '18. Damn, and the rear bumper. I just now noticed that after ya'll mentioned that. No thanks. You have sharp edges and creases, then in the rear, they bubble it. Makes zero sense.

And the cheap looking roof and rear deck stripe? I mean, for real. The 3rd brake light looks clear, so to me that's done right. Or is there something I'm missing?

That was available on 17 and 18. The tail-pipes look like SS diameter

The stripe is there to move your visual focus from the hideouus tail lights.
If they FUBARd the front end like they did the SS and RS, I’d honestly look elsewhere for a new car. Now, like a previous poster, Ill refrain from future negative comments about the refresh. Except, for one thing.... I don’t see the refresh helping the sliding sales of the Camaro. |

I LOVE the new rear - it was the one thing I hated on the 17-18 and this is a huge improvement. Everybody has different tastes. For every one person saying the 18's are better there is a different person saying the 19's are better... I've already got mine ordered and can't wait. I remember back when I had a 13 ZL1 and the 14's had a new rear end - everyone hated that refresh at the time too - yet now people say it's one of the best.....
