long tube headers?
Is there a company that makes long tube headers specifically for the ZL1? I don't want to cut my belly pan.

Got the Pfadt Tri-Y's on mine - sounds awesome!!
And no belly pan cut is needed with them. All the other headers available require cutting of the pan

Not true. I put some small spacers between the belly pan bolts and frame on mine for Kooks LT's and they're fine. No fitment issues and didn't hit the steering either.

How much space and did you need longer bolts?

How much can you pick up with headers over manifolds on this engine?

From what I have seen is anywhere from 30 to 50 HP at the wheels.

Pfadt Tri-Ys are the way to go on the ZL1. Great fit and the build quality is outstanding.

If you're dead set on not cutting the pan, the Pfadts are the only route to go without shimming or manipulating the pan. But with that being said, any of these headers are damn close to that plastic pan so keep that in mind. We should have some results with the LG Superpros here soon so stay tuned for some more rediculous numbers outta those. Good luck and let us know if you have any questions at all!
