That was when I still had the 3200 stall in there and had it re-tuned by a local shop that does tuning for race teams around the country, I was told he was good. I had told him that it had a "dull" spot between 3400 and 3800 that bothered me and he said he could probably fix that for me, and he did, had the converted "lock- up" right at the hit of the throttle... He said that now the car would be a real tire smoker, and it sure was. Now I have a bigger converter and a new tune on the trans, but haven't got a new dyno tune yet. Just had the trans program tweeked for the new converter.

Damn brother that is a lot of torque! Your making me want to change my camshaft to the one you have. That's really awesome 👌

lol, yea I really like it, and with the new 4200-4500 stall she really hits hard. Was going change to the TSP F35 cam for some more, but when I called them and chatted with them they told me that I would probably only see about 10-12 more hp over what I already have, and have to worry more about PTV clearance especially if I hit the limiter too often, so that was a no go, and was going to do the PRC 260 heads, but my shop gave me a quote of 5500 to do the job including heads, a new tune, Johnson 2116LSR lifters, new PR's and a re-tune. I said for only about 25 more rwhp that wasn't in my budget anymore. So I am enjoying what I have now. Tons of fun. With the street tires she will smoke the tires all the way thru 3rd from a dig and she will bite in 4th. I know spinnin ain't winnin, but it sure is fun. I have the Nitto NT555R2's but haven't installed them yet on my extra set of wheels..

Also it's all in the tune. Before I went to him, she didn't make that much, only about 455rwtq I think it was.. Don't remember.

Yea it was a nice bump. I found this guy thru some folks at a car show, they recommended him and asked why I didn't use him before, I didn't know he was available, so look around, they are out there. And I just got off the phone chatting with TSP and looks like I'm going to do the PRC-260 head swap anyway. He said the price my builder quoted was in the ball park of what it would be and with my intake setup and their cam I have now and the RPM's I am running at, I could possibly see another 30-40rwhp gain.. Wow.. That'll get me to my goal for sure!!

Wow that's awesome buddy! Keep us informed because I can't wait to see what the power is at afterwards.

Yes sir. They told me their engine with the F35 cam which is a tad bigger then mine and only makes about 8-9 more rwhp than mine with these heads and a Holley Hi-Ram, which is similar to my LOD, made 650 at the crank on their engine dyno..

You will probably get pretty close. The LOD intake I am running got me I think it was about 37 more rwhp after we installed it. It moved all the power to the right on the curve and all the way out to 7500...

I want a red powder coated LOD so bad I can taste it but I don’t know where I’d get the 1500 bucks for a intake
