$18 Headlight Tint DIY

Knocked this out today for $18 bucks (PVC tint) and 20 minutes. Before and after:

Looks great did you make a template first or trim in place? Let us know how it affects output.

These were pre-cut: Just used a little tint water (baby shampoo and water in a sparyer) and a heat gun. No trim needed as these cuts were spot on! Hope this helps!

No impact to light at night or at least that I can tell. Still very good as they were stock!

I will post tomorrow night after a 50 mile drive home from work. Jury is still out on the light reduction but from backyard test I cant see much if any difference. The test will be the long drive. May even run brights to see if other drivers can tell

Update on lights: You can see a difference in the lights at night. I would say the dim is 25% less light than stock. Brights are very close to what they were. There is a little shade of color difference but nothing major. I will leave them on a few more days and see if I have any issues.
