Limiting Top Speed - Valet mode enable HP Tuners

Is it possible to set a maximum speed in HP Tuners? I have a 2016 1SS. I have a teen driver now... :-)

Yes, you can change the values that limiters are set to, but such changes will be global. I know of no way to either access valet mode limits or to permanently enable valet mode or maybe assign valet mode to a specific key fob from HP Tuners.

Thanks. I haven't used my HP tuners device in a long while. Is it just an overall maximum speed parameter?

I figure I could hopefully set a reasonable limit not too much higher than the speed limit. Then just re-program it back when I wanted to.

Okay, in that case here is where you need to make the change (set limit to x and resume to x-2 or x-3). You should see 180 as limit and 178 as resume threshold in your (stock) tune.

Also, it's been recommended to change the source from 'GMLAN' to 'Calibration' when you've changed the speed limiter. Upper left corner General>Source.

Thread resurrection. So, alternatively, does anyone know if we can set the max rpm when Valet mode is selected using HP Tuners?
