2020+ T93 TCM Cracked? Legit?
Saw this posted in a Facebook Camaro group and on this companies Instragram page... 2020+ T93 TCM unlocked and tuned... Is this legit? Anyone heard this?

I didn’t find a 2020 VIN card but going by the 2019 VIN card this checks out to be a 2020 automatic 2SS.
1G1FH1R79L0107103 I did search and also didn’t find a source stating an unlock. I haven’t heard of this yet.

Interesting, especially coming from a relatively small performance shop. I'd think HP Tuners would know about this and at least mention it on their site.

Wouldn't surprise me if it is true they are one of the premier shops in Houston that stay packed with cars waiting to be worked on.

Sure, but they certainly are yelling about the T87A, which also needs to be cracked, it just happens to be protected by a lesser encryption that (I'd imagine) they can brute force in a few hours. I don't see how the legal ramifications would be any different.

I've heard of them, seen them get recommended on the local groups in the past.
They're not far, close to me which is down the street from PowerFAB. Wouldn't be surprised if they got it then the other performance shops would want to be next in line as there are tons of newer A10's in Houston.

The T87A has been cracked all you have to do is send it in to HP tuners.

That's what I said or at least implied. They probably brute force it, that's why you need to send it in or buy a new "pre-cracked" one from them. Also see my sig, do you think I'd run a stock TCM tune?

Honestly they way some people go about modifying their cars no I wouldn't be surprised to see somebody running a stock trans tune with just a blower and throttle body/cai combo like yours.
