GM hasn’t announced drivetrain options on the 2022 Camaro yet. The 2.0 and 2.7 are both offered on the Cadillac CT4 so it would seem possible. The 2.7 is $4,000 option on the Cadillac while the 3.6 V6 is a $2,000 option on the Camaro. I guess we’ll wait and see what options are announced for the 2022 model.

I got my car exactly how I want it, but a 2.7 turbo I believe could persuade me to start over.

It's possible, but not probable. I can't see them implementing and certifying ($$$) a FIFTH engine for the 6th gen Camaro. With the poor sales, I'd say there's no way this would happen, especially since the 2.7T falls between the envelope of the current engine offerings.

Unless they drop the V6 I don't see this happening, but it would be cool

If they are to do it, then I'd imagine they'd drop the LTG and V6. This engine would be a good bit faster than both of them. I've said to a couple of friends that if they do put it in the Camaro, I'd likely buy it. Assuming it doesn't come along with some refresh where my autox wheels/tires and camber plates wouldn't fit.
