I had a base 2019 Mustang GT 6spd, and a 2017 1SS 6spd and an A10 2019 1SS. I sold the GT b/c it had that 2nd gear grind that seemed to get more noticeable. I got the car for $9K under MSRP, so sold it and lost nothing. It was a VIN highly discounted special.

You'd have to drive both. The base GT 18in wheels/235s are pretty lame compared to the 20s on the LT1. I really liked the GT. Sounded amazing stock. Camaro is more sports oriented and yes visibility is worse but you get used to it quick. I found the stock cloth seats in the Camaro to be way superior to the base GT seats. But that could be just me.

If you can't decide get the cheaper one.

Ive owned both now and they're basically a push if you take things out far enough.

My only gripes on the perf pack 15 GT that I had was the suspension was terrible, terrible wheel hop that I had to put at least a K in the rear of Steeda parts to get it driveable under power.
Mustang tram lines really hard, too.
I had no MT82 problems at all.
Mustangs too at least at that time were known to have an engine tick like a typewriter that people really found to be annoying but I didnt have anything going on like that with my Coyote.
Both of them have poor outward visibility such that I won't split hairs about them.

nothing all all better about those s550 mustangs except the 6 pot brembro's
the suspension is a joke. the tramlining is a joke. the hood flutter is a joke. the driveline clunk is a joke. the chassis is a joke. the low end grunt in that motor is a joke.
buy a mustang if you prefer good brakes. other than that forget it.

The manual trans is what lets the gen 3 S550 Mustang down, they neutered the gear ratio's in '18+ unfortunately and after driving them back to back(MT vs A10) the A10 was a no brainer for me w/ the Mustang.

No problem with the ratio's in the manual SS so I'm happy to be back in a MT for my '21.

6-piston 1LE and ZL1 brakes are more than good enough and can easily be had for the Camaro, so even that preference would be moot

You may not care for the Coyote power delivery (I don't really either tbh) but it can handle a lot more boost and power than the LT1 without upgrading the fuel system and stock block....

If you mainly care about straight line acceleration, the GT is clearly the cheaper way to go; whether its e85/bolt-ons or FI
