Wiper arm plastic nut cover missing

I just noticed that the plastic nut cover that fits at end of the windshied wiper arm is missing on my passenger side. I know it was there at one time. Don't know if someone helped themself to it a a car show or it popped off.

Does anyone know the part mumber for this or where I could get a replacement? I can only find billet covers but would rather have stock.

Thank you,

Bob

Mine had popped off but found it in engine bay - got lucky. Not sure of part #. Could get from dealer. I've seen a few members have this same issue.

My driver side was replaced under warranty. Mine's a 2010 and I hope they have had enough claims that they redesign it. I think the plastic is to thin on the clips.

Really, under warranty? I never would have thought it would be covered. You just told them it popped off and they agreed? I will give that a shot.

Thanks,

Bob

The plastic clips broke on mine about 3 weeks ago. I just went to the dealership and bought the plastic cover piece. Cost was about $7.

I had one of the covers left that I could show the dealer. The little clips that holds it in place were cracked or missing. They replaced both with no questions ... The Camaro we traded in did the same thing.

if stuff just falls off, it is defective!!

if the door fell off, don't you think it would be covered? ( i know, a bit exaggerated, IJS)

I bought extra ones because they break off all the time
the original GM # 10341324 but has since been changed to 22793593 http://www.gmpartsdirect.com
just type in the part number 22793593 in the search box in the upper left hand corner.

So funny to read this, I noticed my driver side fell off too. I found it and used silicone to put it back on.

Mucho LOL, Me too! But it was my Passenger side.
I think mine was broken from day 1, but it just seemed to stay
in place, use of a Leaf Blower notwithstanding.
