"Rust?" on trunk deck.
Saw these spots last week while cleaning my car. Anyone else have them?

Definately bring it back to the dealer, I don't know what the corrosion protection is but that should be covered...gonna have to check mine too

Yeah, that should be covered by warranty. Definitely get it in to your dealer ASAP. That shouldn't happen to a new car.

I know this is probably not related, but gotta ask - any chances of ocean salt water getting on your car a alot? Surfing gear, driving on beach, etc? Even with that you would still need a weakness for it to take advantage of.
I remember back in the '70's, Fiat had some new cars that got surface rust by the time they were unloaded off he boat in the US. |

I have already had problems with the paint on this car. It had "rail dust" when I bought it, but I did catch it until after I got home. I told the dealer about it and he told me to bring it in so they could clay and wax it. It seems to be gone now, but it sill worries me. And now this. |

In the pictures there appears to be a big blob of paint or weld on the corners.
I'll have to check mine out.

The one on the right looks horrible. Let us know what the dealer says. I went out to the garage and looked at mine just to compare and both corners look perfect compared to that.
