I did a few first mods to mine finally. I found some vinyl tint I bought a LONNNG time ago to black out the roof of my wifes car but never got around to it. I cut a few pieces off and blacked out the Red/Yellow side markers.

Also blacked out the front and rear bowties with plastidip. Boy was the front emblem a PITA to remove.

What a squeeze for a minor modification to my transmission... I easily removed the OEM harness with a screwdriver, but what a pain it was to get the aftermarket part to click. If God made my hands any bigger, there would've been no way. Picture doesn't even do it justice. I felt like I had to summon the power of Hercules into the one finger that could reach in order for the harness to clip.. phew, it's done, and no more annoying skip shift lockout!

I bought the Gen6 harness from Gen5diy. $15 shipped, and totally worth it.

Same with me. I unplugged the sucker in less than 5 seconds, but took me a while to plug them back in.
I had to tape the plug to a long screw driver and wiggled my way in.

And yes, it was totally worth it!

Not sure if you can see clearly, but it seems to be the spot you are referring to.

That was my experience also. A real PITA to get the new harness plugged back in. Took me maybe 20 minutes for just that part. I could get very close, just didn't hear that click. I was very relieved when it went in. And yes, it was worth it!
