Nice runs King! Damn impressive for 20” drag radials on an unprepped surface.

Thanks Josh! The 60ft was only 1.81 so that tells you how much there is left in it on a drag pack at a prepped track.

New best. 2nd gear launch in Sport mode. I am officially convinced the 555r2 are better then the original.

Good informative thread!
I’m also mild bolt on and on 305/35/20 555R1s have been able to do 3.5 0-60 on the street.
I’m going to move to a 17” wheel and just placed the order for some 305/45/17 555R2s
In my mind should be vastly superior to the 20”s because of all the benefits (being a way newer tire and I’m getting more sidewall, it’s suppose to be wider, gearing should be back to normal and not impacted negatively like the 305-35-20s) I’ll do a write up after comparing the two.
Will be going on a 17X10.5 Racestar

Where are you guys getting the 305 r2's?

They’re on back order, I purchased them online it said expected delivery date 1/27/21 but the day after I paid i got an email saying expected shipping day 3/15/21. So I canceled them and bought some locally had to pay a bit more but got them will be mounting everything up this week

I got my NT555RII's from 4wheelonline last year. Dry traction is pretty impressive. Bought this nitto tire because I was told that it has reinforced internal construction for improved cornering and handling.
