I replaced the ZL1 emblems with the black ones from Wildhammer.
I had to replace the adhesive that came with the new emblems, but once I had that taken care of, everything else went smooth and the final result is exactly what I was looking for.

Looks great, I like how the red is matched! I just swapped my rear badge with a flat black with white "1". Cheap ebay/China badges but they look pretty good.

That looks great! What do you think of the overall quality of the emblems? I was looking at ordering a set from them to do the exact same thing.

They are solid, sturdy and look great. They are metal, while the factory emblems are plastic. At $18 a set they are a bargain.

But - as mentioned in other posts, the adhesive tape is white. Which is bad. On top of that, the adhesive on mine was horribly off-center.

Another user here removed the provided adhesive and recentered it on the emblems. I removed all of the adhesive that came with the emblems and replaced it with grey 3M tape. That took some work with an Xacto knife to cut out new adhesive. Then I used a black sharpie to color in the edges.

If you are ok with the adhesive, or fixing/replacing it, the emblems themselves are top notch.

Wildhammer price is actually cheaper than that Amazon link.
It looks like everyone uses white tape so you either have to live with it or replace it.

I have the same issue with the wildhammer emblems. I even called them to ask before I ordered and they told me that they had changed the tape. I want to go install them today and guess what there white.

What 3m tape did you use and how wide i can only find 1/2"?

Just installed a front grille emblem from emblempros.com. They use the gray tape. They are definitely more expensive than Amazon or wild hammer but quality is great.

I guess I will be returning the wildhammer and ordering them from emblempros. What size did you get for the grille and does it have pins or is it use tape?

Quick question, did you paint or powder coat the inside of exhaust tips, or is that all just soot ?

I ordered the "small" for the grill. Exact fit as original. They do not use the pins, just the tape.
