325/30/19 NT01's ?

Question for you fellow track rats. Have you run this size in back with the 305's in front or even 325 NT01s all the way around on The OEM wheels? If you have, I am curious to your experience with them handling wise. I have run a set of 305 NT01s and while relatively pleased with their performance compared to the Trofeos the 305 NT01s run a little narrower than 305 Trofeos in measurements and look kind of skinny on the rear. I am attempting to maximize the contact patch but don't want to create understeer at the limit. I remember someone posting once that they understood that GM was going to use 325 size Trofeos in the rear but liked how the car rotated more on the Nurburgring with the smaller size. Any opinions or experience is appreciated.

I too am curious because I was going to run at least 325 square knowing that the Nt01 run small.

There are a lot of threads covering that. Several people are running 325's all the way around and not having any issues. Its to early for me to search for them and find you links.

Here are a couple:

I actually just purchased a set of 305 front 325 rear nitto nt01 and will have them mounted and balanced next wednesday. Will provide pics once I do!

Based on some cursory research, the 325 nitto is actually just slightly wider than the 305 pirelli trofeo, and the 305 nitto is slightly narrower. I've seen a few people running 325 square with the bridgestone RE-11, however as those aren't an R compound tire, they have a slightly narrower sidewall and actually aren't even as wide as the stock 305 trofeo.

I went with 305 front and 325 rear to be safe because I knew it would fit without any rubbing, however 325 square with the nt01 may also work just fine as well.

Thanks everyone for their replies. Cars above look great btw. Aris, how do you like the handling on track with the 305 NT01's front and 325 NT01s rear?

Also, just to be helpful to everyone a 305 or any size for that matter IS NOT consistent across manufacturers in width. The measurements on the 325 NT01s look real close to not fitting on the front. I guess I will be the guinea pig and see if it works. Also, I found out yesterday the 325 NT01s are cheaper than the 305's by about $17/tire from Discount Tire.

I haven't gotten them on the car yet (they actually just arrived today), but will have them mounted next Wednesday. Will get together some pics and my initial impressions then.

The RE-11s are quite good and give good service on a road course. The new RE-71 is much stickier and does not live as long.

335/30/19 fit, but on an 11" wide front tire roll too much.

On any 5th Gen, when you stagger the tire size you will induce understeer.

Looks like your are using Forgeline wheels and not stock.

Are the aftermarket wheels the exact same size and offsets as the factory?

From what I understand, the OE wheels are the same as my Forgeline specs from 2009. We were running 305/30/19s back in 2009.
