This is in no way a worst case scenario but it's a college parking lot and like you said getting in and out is an art in these situations and very few people can be bothered to get out with care. Just ask the doors of my 2010 subaru impreza. I couldn't open my passenger door even on click of the hinge. I never take two spots in busy parking lots and I almost always try to park in a spot where no one can park on one side of my car and then just park too far to that side leaving plenty of room but I guess in the end if they don't ding my car and wana park like that hell ill give them a handshake. But the first guy to ding my car after parking next to me like that is getting a kick to the door

I see no problem with the way he parked. Do it all the time but I do park far out in the lot and have yet to have a problem, with keying. Must be a slow day at the asylum.

I took my '70 convertible to the hospital once. I was having a procedure. I parked right next to one of the 'reserved for doctor' spaces. Nice expensive BMW sportscar was in that spot.

I came out, BMW was gone. I had a small dent and a big chip in my door from the BMW.

If you park way in the back, why do you need two spots? Just sayin', two spots is still two spots. And could piss somebody off. With a plethora of keys in their pocket.

I don't see any reason for them taking 2 spots,as this looks like a chill place to live and there were plenty of roomy spots. But on the other hand I used to drive my 02SS to BlockBuster and park in an area with at least 50 empty spots around me,and for some unknown reason some dumbass would come and park right next to meso it just goes to prove that no matter what you do,some asshat is just looking to prove something by parking next to you!

My '73 Cadillac was capable of taking over parts of six spots if I parked it the right way. Just never did it.

I've had my car over a year and still don't have any dings, and I only use one space. Maybe tomorrow, though, never know.

Exactly this!

You like to park in one, he liked to park in two for more room, in a fairly empty lot! Close your door and walk in! Why worry about someone else's choice? His car, his park job!.... Move on!...

Glad to see its everyone's business to give a shit about how a guy parks because of other careless a-holes and immature BS and to key it because of it too!

In the back of the lot, away from everyone is the right idea.

So when I park out at the end of the row and cross the lines in the hash marks to give myself some extra room on the other side, makes me a douche? Damn it! I just thought I really like to take care of my car!
