Fuel Mileage

Took a 800 mile trip this past weekend in my RS LFX. Got 29.4 MPG on interstate running around 70-80 MPH. Only mod is a C.A.I. air induction system. I thought that was pretty darn good.

Excellent mileage..... Hovered around 30 mpg myself on some recent trip and loving the combo of power and mileage from these LFX engines..

Impressive. Best I've gotten is 27, but my wife drove it the other day and got the DIC to read 28.

I don't have that kind of self-control.

I am truly impressed with the highway fuel mileage the LFX gets. I've had my new 2LT for 3 weeks now and have about 630 miles on it. Last night while I drove home from work, about a 9 mile commute via the interstate, I set the cruise to 70 mph and zeroed out the mpg calculator. By the time I got off the interstate it was reading 31.5 mpg. My 2010 Malibu LTZ with the 2.4 four cylinder didn't reach that high a number until it had over 10,000 miles on it.

I've yet to break 27 mpg at 70 mph. I'm waiting for the better mileage to kick in. 4800 miles so far. Only mods are Volant cai with Donaldson Powercore filter and MRT 2.0 axle back. 99 percent of my miles are city, so I'm hoping a few road trips will turn the tables. Get about 16.7 around town.

I only get 21.8 going 75. I drive 80 percent highway and the rest city. Never reached more then that. I have 6500 miles on her now. Strange

89 octane, 3500 miles on the OD...I put gas in at about 400 miles...axle back only

75 miles round trip daily...
on the way is 60-70 mph steady.... on the way home bumper to bumper..
Orlando to Daytona and it sucks

22.50 on the dash / 22.22 based on the math....every tank is the same..

Im about 70% highway and I average 22.5-23.0 MPG. I try to be careful on the loud pedal but if I get the feeling it may find its way to the floor.
