why!!??

So why is it that every single time i see another Camaro driver, i feel like i should throw my lights or say whats up or something. Maybe its because this forum makes me feel we are all one. But every time i see another Camaro, before i can wave or throw my lights theyre wanting to race me. Just the other day coming down euclid in ontario, i rolled down my window and complimented another guy in his Camaro. not even saying thanks or giving me a thumbs up or anything. Instead he sits waiting at the light, revving his engine, and takes off burning out. is this something that everyone does???

I feel the same way, I used to have a motorcycle and everyone I got passed or I passed another cycle we always nodded or made some type of acknowledgment. Same thing when I had my Subaru STI.

When I pass a camaro or get passed they just give the cold shoulder or rev and go. I think it's just due to the huge differences in the types of drivers you find in the Camaro.

I was driving Rt.1 South next to The Pentagon last night. A goofball in a Challenger R/T got next to me and then lit it up to I would guess over 80 mph. I'm surprised he didn't wreck. I'm also surprised he thought that was a great area to pretend awesomeness. I think you will find that attitude with some people, no matter what zippy car they're driving.

I wave. I smile. Usually I'll get a rev, a playful run for a quarter mile or so. It's all in good fun. The more we expect it from each other, the more it will happen.

Most fellow Camaro owners here dont care, just a car to them. I wave but rarely get one in return. Never had one wanna race. I usually get dumb cars like 4 door Saturns that wanna race

I always wave and smile, most of the time I get one back but not always. Now that the weather is warming up, starting to see more on the road.

The good thing is about where I live is that there aren't too many 5th gens out side of our club. And I get a lot of stares and waves from people driving different cars (Mustangs too oddly enough). I'll occasionally get that one car full of kids that are all bunched up on the the windows telling me to rev or go fast lol, and everyone knows you can't disappoint a kid in need of a show

Actually today a suv pulled up beside me with a few young guys, I had my window open and one guy leaned out the window to yell "nice camaro". I get a lot of that, especially when stopped at lights, get thumbs up or nice ride!

Applaud yourself there that's the mature way. I don't race my car either. I say you go ahead and burn ya gas out. I'm in cruise mode I'm on that Will Smith (Summer Summer Summertime sh%t) cruising 2mph so everybody sees me.
