I think you got better service based upon them counting their blessings that you didn't get more upset. If I would have bought a car and drove it home and the glass blew out and ruined the paint, it would be going back to their lot and they'd be keeping it.

Here are some pics of my car. The main roads were clear today, so I ventured her out on the streets.
She was dirty, but it doesn't look too bad in the pics. Just glad the rear window hasn't broken again.  It must have been just a freak incident!  Sorry the pics are so big. Not sure how to downsize them. |

It was broken when the body shop removed it to paint the trunk and rear quarters. I just have to slip down to the dealer to have them put the new one back on.
I agree with you on the color. It has really grown on me!
