I remember him from a dubious Challenger forum - bragging about his new 26" wagon wheels on his SRT that was "custom" painted. Horrible thing he did to that car. I think he got banned for what he did to that Challenger. What a tool.

If i could have afforded it, i would have gone with a challenger srt8. However, the difference in price between an ss or the srt8 was around 10K, way too much. Instead, i got a 1ss auto, and did a cam, full exhaust, high performance axles, torque converter and tune for just slightly over what the srt8 would have cost. I am salivating over the 6.4 though!

Imho... the two cars are equals in looks. Both are nice looking cars. Overall build quality, I see the dodge having the advantage. But performance goes to the camaro hands down. The dealbreaker for me is weight though. I like my cars to feel nimble. The mustang has the best performance but is so butt ugly its not an option. I do like the color scheme on the BOSS 302 though.
I think if I were to be choosing between muscle cars it would be either, the Camaro ZL1 or the Mustang BOSS 302. The challenger is a car collectors garage queen. The other 2 exemply some feel of motorsports. |
