Anyone bought or driven a 1LE 2.0 Turbo yet?
If so what do you think?

I asked this same question in the 1LE sub forum and still haven't found anyone yet. I think by summer time though, we'll get some takers.

IMO, the SS 1LE is no faster than the V6 for autocross, and I wouldn't be surprised if the turbo is as quick as both around an autocross. Plus the turbo can be tuned for solid horsepower gains. But I love the V6 engine and the turbo is only a little cheaper, so that is a problem.

Of course when you move to CAM it becomes much closer and as we saw at Nationals this year the T4 has the potential to be the quickest of the bunch when running on equally wide rubber and with some suspension and engine mods. If I had extremely deep pockets (and some insider knowledge from the Chevy AutoX guys) I would pick up a T4 1LE and build it just like they did to run AutoX and just use my SS 1LE for track stuff haha The T4 1LE definitely has lots of potential for AutoX there's no doubt I hope to see some out at events this year.

We've only had one and it sold almost immediately so I didn't get to drive it. It should be a fun car though. I really like the 2.0T in the base Camaro so I can imagine the 1LE being even better.

We have one, 2.0T in crush color, we use it mostly to test new part to see how the car works, car is much lighter.

I just bought a Riverside Blue T4 1LE. I love the characteristics so far and it seems really nimble. I also love that they included the no lift shift. I usually run a v8 in autocross so I am anxious to see how this car performs. One thing I do like: I drove it 6 hours back from picking it up and averaged well above highway speeds for long stretches and also hit some stop and go traffic and it still delivered almost 28mpg.

Looks sweet in Riverside Blue. Just don't track it.
