eLSD Calibrations ZL1 vs. ZL1 1LE

Can anyone confirm if there are differences between the ZL1 eLSD calibration and the ZL1 1LE?

I picked up a eLSD chasis control module from a totaled out ZL1 1LE M6 and will see if there is any difference from my ZL1 A10.

Yes, the calibrations are different. The ZL1 1LE is tuned to be more aggressive for the added grip of the 3Rs.

I did the CCM swap last year. You'll probably notice it's a little easier to rotate the car with throttle on a sticky tire. The difference isn't huge though.

My swap was from ZL1 1LE M6 to ZL1 M6. The CCM calibration for an A10 isn't going to be the same as the calibration for an M6. These cars each have custom calibrations. I'm not sure, but the added security in 2019 might limit the ability to swap in a module from the ZL1 1LE A10, but if it works, that may work better than having the transmission mismatch.

Thanks, I think finding a 2019 ZL1 1LE A10 module will be difficult. I got all of the body control modules for $275.

I wonder if I can pop my "used" module into a friend's 2019 ZL1 1LE A10 and take it to the dealership to be "reprogrammed."

You can, but it still may not work in your car due to the cyber security that was added in 2019. That is the only monkey wrench. It may work fine. I'm not sure. I just know some significant cross module security checks were added in 2019.

It's easy to swap. Just try your friends module in your car first and see if you get any error codes. If it works, your plan of having a dealer reprogram a spare module should work fine.
