1LE passes GT350 on last lap
I saw there was a GT350 in My run Group at LRP, I passes almost the entire field, and past the GT350 on the last lap

Very nice. Not to be the buzz kill but he gave you a point by. Lol! You did a really good job chasing him down for sure.

It was HPDE, advanced group, you can not pass without a point by. The Mustang driver knew, I was faster., would have been stupid of him not to let me by. I would have pushed him across the finish line Ha!!

I run, only the beginners have required point byes. The more skilled groups are either passing areas marked out or open passing. |

I used to race, GT1 but I don’t think I want some of these assholes, dive bombing me in my daily driver I’ve seen some pretty stupid drivers out there One guy I met who ran in group 4, had some crazy person in a ZL1 lose control at end of long strait at PBIR, probably going 150mph, he totaled this guys 1LE and totaled his ZL1 I don’t need that crap in a street car, but would definitely do it in a race car Last edited by CC2018SS1LE; 03-15-2021 at 09:38 PM. |

Interesting. NASA out here does not require a point by. Just designated passing zones. A point by is encouraged but not required. As you go up in groups the passing locations get larger.
There is definitely a lot of drivers operating above their skill level. Just because your car is fast, doesn’t make you a good driver. ( general observation not directed at you op). |

Congrats CC2018SS1LE!
However, don't you notice on the last lap that that Mustang didn't even attempt to hit apexes anymore? |

He got nervous, because I caught him so fast The lap before, he hit every apex, until I was up his ass, at turn 1, then he missed every apex What reason would he have to purposely, miss all the apexes? If he wanted me to pass him, he would have pointed me by, earlier |
