what going on it the 7th gen has been put on hold. nothing more nothing less.
i think the way GM is going the 7th gen will be electric.
would people get pissed if the 7th gen was electric and did 0-60 in 2.9sec and run 100 miles with 20min recharge.

Full 1LE suspension, with BMR adjustable sway bars and links, GM aluminum cradle bushings, Hurst shifter with lighter reverse spring, TWM shifter knob, Tick level 1 transmission. I should have bought a ZL1

Oh goodness yes I definitely would be. 100 miles and 20min recharge would not work for me. I wouldn't ever beable to use it to do anything else but get groceries and come back.

I'm not going to pioneer the 1st gen of affordable electrics. I'm going to remain gas for a good while.

Hell yes I'd be pissed. It is a 100 miles round trip from my other house to town. That means I'd have to find a charging station and hang out for 20 min, just so I could run errands, cruise, (maybe 40 min depending on in town driving), so I could go back home?

I promise you I'd never buy it. EVER!

There is a reason why steam and electric cars didn't make it back in the 1900's (and they were both available at the dawn of the automobile). Engineers haven't overcome the problems of range or refueling for them in 100 years. This is why they are not mainstream.

If there is going to be a Gen7 as a 2022 model we should see the first Prototypes in camo very early next year. Usually about 80 weeks ahead of production.

If nothing by summer then...............
