Camaro V6 Cherry Bomb Questions

Hey guys, I'm new here and I have some questions about buying cherry bomb glasspacks for my 2015 LFX. I have the Solo High Flow Cats and nothing else yet. So my questions are:
What size inlet and outlet would I need?
What length glasspack would I need?
I want to get the Solo J-pipes to help with drone, but how would they be installed (if possible with glasspacks)?
I plan on cutting out only the mufflers and replacing them with the glasspacks, and this would create a need for new tips, correct? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, because I have almost zero knowledge about exhaust.

I had them on my 2011 V6 2LS they are junk not your father's cherry bomb glasspacks i liked the sound but without the magnaflow resonated x-pipe it will drone so bad you'll get a migraine especially with the hi-flows.

I understand they may not be as good as the original glasspacks, but I'm just looking for an aggressive upgrade over the stock system, which I think the glasspacks would do that and more. So your only problem was with the drone? I'm definitely gonna try to install the SOLO J-pipes which I've heard work wonders for eliminating drone. And I've heard the Magnaflow Res X pipe is good also, so I'll be strongly considering it.

I would avoid the glass packs all together, and go with the extreme mufflers. They will be loud, and they will drone so I suggest a magnaflow resonated X-pipe. I do have an LLT so mine will sound a bit different, as I have shorty headers soon to add solo high flows, but here is a thread I put up after installing the headers and it will give you an idea how they sound. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=407814

I actually began looking at cherry bombs with the extreme series, but I'm only 18 and my dad makes the executive decision on what goes onto my car sadly. He thinks the extremes would be too loud to be legal in my area, which is true, but he would be fine with the glasspacks which are probably still too loud to be legal. If it was up to me 100%, I'd already have the extremes. Thanks for the link and suggestion, and your car sounds awesome with the extremes and shorties.

If you do not want to sound "ricey", I would avoid glasspacks and install the Resonated X pipe and delete the mufflers or if you want to pair them with the X pipe then that would be fine too. I feel like you would have alot of rasp with glasspacks without thr Res. x pipe, especially with HFC.

This would be basically the same thing, just me having the Secondary Cats deleted instead of the HFC... I have the MRT v1 to clean up the sound a bit more. Keep in mind I do not have a CAI.

Thanks it's actually still a bit too quiet for me. Around here all we have is trucks with cutoffs dumped halfway behind the door. So my car is extremely tame compared to that. If you do get glass packs you will have to get the X-pipe, even then it may still sound raspy. Just my 0.02 cents.

It's very raspy without the x-pipe but it also sounds very loud on WOT plus the 2k rpm cruise drone is really bad without the x-pipe the extremes actually have a deeper sound then the glasspacks in reality and when i say these aren't your father's glasspacks the quality isn't the same they rusted pretty bad in one year. As for ricer comments on glasspacks go back to wherever you came from glasspacks were on muscle cars well before the ricers thought of the idea of a high wing spoiler being a great idea.

You should check out either the MRT 1.0 or 2.0. I just installed the 2.0 with a CAI and it sounds so mean and badass. When cruising it's quite and enjoyable, when you step on it she opens up and lets everyone know your coming

So it looks like the Magnaflow Res X Pipe is a definite. Unfortunately, If I do a muffler delete I won't be passing inspections, so that's out of the question. I'll have to take a look at the MRT as it seems to be very popular for the V6. Maybe the Res X Pipe and MRT V1 with SOLO J-pipes for drone?

Some states do a sound level check at emissions time....but if you're looking for louder exhaust, I don't understand how you want it louder, but not louder. A Magnaflow 11386 Resonated X-Pipe and muffler delete is one of the cheapest and most popular exhaust options for the V6 at the moment.

I still don't understand what mufflers have to do with emissions.

I guess I should've been more specific about inspections. Brake tags require mufflers installed, it's a law in my city. Nothing to do with emissions, sorry for the confusion. My dad approves the decisions on the car, and he'd like to stay on the legal side of things, so I will be needing mufflers.

Oh, I gotcha! I'm also running Flowmaster Super 10s, and they sound good. Shags is running the same mufflers, and has a video somewhere.
