dry rot
My girlfriend's 2018 CTS-V came with Pilot Super Sports that all have a 2016 manufacture dates. Noticed that both rears are dry rotting and cracking on the edge of the tread. Fronts are fine. Does it seem unusual for them to already be having issues? Haven't asked the dealer about it yet. Car is garage kept in coastal central Florida where it's rarely over 95* F, and never below (or near) freezing.

At 5 years old, it's not unheard of to start to crack. I would expect it more in a drier climate than FL though, but if it sits outside and has the sun beating on it, then I can see where it could happen. Also, I've heard that Michelins dry rots sooner than other brands. They don't look terrible, but they're certainly past their prime.
