Roebling Road Track Day Video
A few laps from my PDR yesterday at Roebling Road.
First time at the track up there and I really enjoyed it. Had a friend in the car with me. Last edited by Snakebt6; 01-31-2021 at 08:59 AM. |

I have to been to many tracks, and Roebling is my favorite. You were doing good for this being your first time. The only advice I can give you is that you can carry more speed going into turn 9. Coming out of 7 and 8 you had a ton of speed, but you bled too much off going into 9. I try to be going into 9 at least 95 to 100. You will probably take at least a second off of your lap time. A fast lap at Roebling is 1:16/1:17. The fastest I have gone is 1:20. A guy in a GT350R 1:16's all day long. I believe Urban Knight did a 1:18 in his ZLE.

Thanks for the advice. Ill do some homework before I go back for sure.
Seems like the car and the track were made for each other. It was really comfortable there for me for sure. |

You can also brake much deeper into turn 1. Extend the braking zone all the way to mid-between 1 and 2 with lighter braking. You'll increase the average speed through the sector.

Totally agree..I was figuring that out at the end of the day.
I generally brake sooner and easier just to be mindful of the car but I think the next time I go back Ill brake at the 4 and extend the braking zone deeper into 1. Also like G61LE said I can carry more speed onto the front stretch as well. I ran about 40 laps total and was running nice consistent times at the end of the day like in the video above. Ive got more in it for sure. |
