Find someone to do the tune before you attempt anything.

It's pretty easy and you can get a buddy to help with no problem. I almost did it by myself except I was too concerned that I might cross thread a bolt on the passenger side so I asked a friend to screw in a couple bolts to get the header into place. Later I thought about cutting the old bolt head off of two bolts and then thread them in so you have somewhere to hang the header until you can get top side and bolt it in permanently.

$700 for just the tune? That seems like a lot to be honest. There’s a vendor here you can buy sct tuner for around $500 and get free lifetime tunes it would beat $700 for sure unless $700 is an actual dyno time. But you could save $ mail tune etc

So easy a monkey can do it. I would also get them ceramic coated. Do all your mods first and then get a tune. A good tuner should be about $500.00 or less .

Watch some videos and gain some confidence. Just make sure you get it up high enough to get the headers in through the bottom.
