Help Replaceing my coolant 2013 3.6 V6

Ive done some searching and did not find much.
I was under the car today and I was supersized that there was no block drains.
So whats the best method to replace all my old Dex-cool?
From what I have read if you drain and fill the radiator with distilled water about 6 time and then do a drain and fill with 100% coolant That will get it close to the 50/50 mix and I would have gotten enough of the old stuff out that I could go with just a long life coolant.
So what's the best way?

Thanks,
Chris G.

What you mentioned will work. When I did mine, I drained as much of the old coolant as possible from radiator drain. Then I disconnected the upper hose and ran the car using my garden hose to flush it. Engine has to get warm enough to open thermostat. I did this for like 20/25 minutes, stopped engine, drained as much as possible again. Topped off with straight coolant til full.
Oh and I vacuumed out liquid in expansion/overflow tank and flushed it out with the hose too, then wet vacuumed out the water. Filled it with 50/50 coolant mix.

Sure 6 times with distilled water would be better but I'm not wasting all my time with that.

I have a 2001 s10 that had dex cool that was bad when I got it and it was a hell of a mess to clean I'm sure it helped both sides of the intake to start to leak. I was able to save the heater core but the rad was toast
So I'm not going to take any chances I want to make sure it's nice and clean.

I've already used 6 gal already still coming out with some color to it.
I vacuumed out the overflow tank and it now has distilled water in it.
Once it comes out clear I will drain the overflow tank and replace it with a 50/50 mix and then fill the radiator up with 100% and run it and the see where I'm at and either add 50/50 or 100%.
I don't think I'm not going to put the dex cool back in I think I'm going to use the reg extended life coolant 5Yr 50k.
I just can't believe there no drains on the engine.

Oh and I forgot to add, when you do flush the cooling system, put on the heater and blower, on hot. That way it will circulate thru the hoses and heater core.

There’s a valve on the bottom of the radiator to drain it. Just turn it open it all runs out. Refill from the cap and the overflow until the dipstick is correct.

Drive it short distance turning to get the air out and top off at the cap.

You might at best remove 50-60% of the old fluid using this method. It just isn't that easy. The heater hoses, heater core, upper and lower main hoses, and the engine block/heads also hold coolant.....and that does not drain "just opening the radiator drain and topping off after".

Not to mention the overflow/expansion tank should be drained, cleaned/flushed, and partially refilled to proper level.

I did the same.
That's not true, there is no control valve for the heater core. Coolant circulates through it at ALL times.

Ok, I'll buy that. I thought i read somewhere on line or in a video where there was a valve in the heater core hoses. But that would explain why when the blend door fails, owners report hot air from HVAC no matter what they do or adjust.

I think this weekend I'm going to do a tire flush and refill with hospital grade oxygen. Do you think I should dismount and sterilize the wheels and tires first?
