One of the other members, forgot which one, said you have to let car sit for at least a half hr before you ck the oil, damn he was correct. I put in 10 quarts, checked the oil, was at the very bottom of dip stick, looking like it needed another quart. So I drove around the rest of the day, parked it over night, checked in the morning and it was 100% full

I was at Sebring, this past wkend, did 4 sessions, drove home, checked in the morning, it was 100% full

I never saw a car, that takes so long for the oil to settle

My 2017, 1le never did that, I always checked it, right after fill up and it always read full. I have no idea
But I am lucky I did not blow my engine, from adding too much oil.
