Complete 2016 rear suspension/diff Assy

2016 Camaro 2ss suspension/rear end assy . Includes brakes, cooling lines, and tires and wheels. Removed from a wreck I purchased for the engine and transmission. Car was only 4 weeks old. One wheel has minor curb rash (scratches). Like new. I think the ratio is 3.73 but not sure. Located in the Okla City area. Local Pickup only.
$ 2000 OBO (reasonable)

Good point!
I purchased the car from an Insurance company after it was totaled for the engine and trans for my 1967 El Camino. I don't know the details of the accident other than it was raining (wipers on) and there were empty beer cans in the floorboard. Flipped pretty hard and all airbags deployed. Right door was the only body panel not damaged.
Good lesson for all of us....rain, alcohol and 455HP don't mix !!! It appears the car was never tagged.

How did you go about finding the car and purchasing it from the insurance company? I'm interested in doing the same thing for a project car. Any insight on how to do this would be appreciated!

Cool engine swap!!! Seems to be a good price on the rear end.

Thanks. Were you able to verify the engine/trans were in good condition prior to paying (or is that guaranteed)? Any chance you could PM me the winning bid / price paid, so I have something to target during my search?

I would suggest you go to the Copart website to do your research. Prices, like any auction, can vary widely. Some only have minor damage and will run and drive. Others are destroyed and you get what you get. You can look the car over or there are people that, for a price, will examine the car and give you some idea what's there if the car is not close to you. Many states do not allow the public to bid on these cars. You can still buy them thru a broker in many cases. Of course that adds an additional cost.
Cost to transport also has to be figured in as well, depending on where the car is located.
Auction fees also add to the cost as well as state sales tax (some states)
Again, Copart website is a good place to start. Pretty easy to use and most questions will be answered.
There have not been many Gen6 Camaro's hit the auction yet so not much data to research. Since I was after the engine/trans, I used the Crate engine package as a baseline for what the car was worth. A new LT1, 8L90 with computers and harness's are about $17K. Ebay had two pullout engines/trans out of wrecked Camaro's advertised for $12,500. Other than that, not much to base the prices on.
Keep in mind the cars are sold as is where is. A little bit of a gamble.
Good luck, hope you find what you are looking for.

If I had that lying around it would go in my own 67 El Camino restoration.
