Who in here has owned a Gen5 ZL1 - Page 3

My main attraction to Gen6 Z is price and a 3rd pedal. I found a blue '17 manual no roof w 1600 miles for 52k

I think my best combo is a gen5 Z and a V3 .

So if anyone has a red one w/ stick and no roof let me know.. lol

I'd keep the Hellcat for the daily drive and get a used 2017 Grand Sport w/ Z07 & Manual for the track.

Or Get a ZL1 1LE for both daily drive and track

Loved my 2012 5th Gen Z w/ M6. Had it longer than any other Camaro.

Wife gave thumbs down to gen6 Z so looks like a V3 it is for now and sell the kitty, we don't drive it, it might have 3000 miles on it and it's a '16. I have a track day coming up and will see how the V does. It will prob have a sunroof and hopefully I have enough room with a helmet on. My gen5 had a sunroof and it was hell trying to fit in there, so hopefully I can find one without, seem hard to find.

While the HC has more raw power, the V I think is a better drivers car. Enjoy and post some pictures when you get it. What colors and options are you looking for?

I agree. HC is a neat car but at the end of the day it doesn't have much use for us now (4 young children). V3 seems to best of all worlds and can even wing a track day here and there.

A10 6th gen night and day over my m6 2015 Z....only thing I miss is the convertible. Would never go back.

Drove my 2015 Zl1 across Canada and the USA last summer. Very comfortable, no issues, lotsa fun. Cant wait to do it in the 6 gen.

Loved my '14 Camaro Zl1 with Recaro seats, great looking Muscle car. I exchange it for a Stingray Z51. My 465 HP Corvette is way faster compared to my 580 HP 5th gen Zl1. But my actual Stingray doesn't match the build quality of my faithful ZL1. Yes I miss that car.
