A dr colorchip tip

So I went to use DR colorchip on my splitter yesterday, 85°, not hot, not in the sun , using their squeegee method, but I found when I tried to spread it , it immediately flashed off unlike the white car with the drcolorchip video. It just seem like the paint was immediately drying to soon as it hits the surface. And could'nt be spread. So I called them and they said you can dilute the paint for the few drops of acetone and now it became exactly like in the video very spreadable very even… Just passing this on, nothing in their FAQ or docs suggests this.

The mini buckshot problem:

All done

thanks for the tip! Rock chips aren't really "perfectly" repairable unless the panel gets re-painted.

Dr. Color chips seems to be a great solution to hide the chips.
