Obviously glad you guys are ok, hopefully the insurance company doesn't try and screw you on the value. Hoping you have a smooth resolution to this.

I see replies here on sue sue sue, Why sue the guy-It was an accident. If he does not have insurance then look into that, most likely he has nothing..
Your insurance company should work with his and get you the best bang.
Suing everyone is kinda whats wrong with America.

Uh, unless the guy's brakes when out for no reason, or he had a heart attack, or some other unforeseen unavoidable condition, no, it was not an accident; it was a negligent wreck. An accident is defined as "an event that happens by chance or that is without apparent or deliberate cause". This was apparent, if he was indeed on the phone not paying attention.

And suing when it's rightful isn't what's wrong with America. Suing for some dumb reason is dumb, but there's way more wrong with America than just that.

Sorry this happened. I always try to look down intersections when I approach lights for the moron about to run the red light and try to smash into me, even if its been green for the entire approach to the intersection. I always assume someone is not paying attention and will ram into me. Whether that person is going to run a red light or stop sign, or pull out from a parking lot, or change lanes at the last moment, or cross over a double yellow, or jump over a highway median, or fall off an overpass onto my car, or their trailer comes disconnected from their truck, or something flies out of their truck bed - they are out to smash their car into mine at any moment or unexpected impossible location.

That was my first thought, too, but they did a hyper blue ZL1 already and another one wouldn't make a popular video. Also, I love their dedication and grit and their cheer, but wouldn't necessarily want to drive a ZL1 they resuscitate after this amount of damage.

When I see idiots in the gym hogging a machine looking at their cell phone I want to kick them in the head. It's an epidemic and completely out of control. Put down the f-ing phone and drive

Because the only way it seems to get these morons off their phones when they're driving is to bankrupt them, ruin their credit score, and make it so expensive for them to drive again, they won't be able to. I would also be the asshat who shows up in court, wins, and offers them a bus pass with $50 on it.
