In addition, if you are running just an intake and a tune, don't change the plugs, you dont need them yet.

The new plugs just compensated for the additional heat in the cylinder, without them, I probably would be pulling even more timing. Should be noted, they also come pregapped about the same as factory specs which is what really matters to prevent fouling, they get plenty of heat the stay clean and a nice large gap to burn as much fuel as possible without any blowout what so ever.

If you want to run more timing, E50 did the trick for me.... I have a very happy fuel system 2900 psi at the rail, 80psi low side, inj around 5.4ms, and 23° of timing at wot every single time.

Bolt-on car on E85 is fine running stock plugs. Normally don't go colder unless you do Heads/Cam or a power adder.

Understood...I too run a LTR7IX but I am FI similar to you and it's even more critical that I run a colder plug since the LT1 has a lot more compression then a LT4.

Absolutely, you are more of a candidate to the colder plug than myself for sure. Btw, I've seen your tuning thread as well. Any chances you have done a secondary XDI HPFP tune at some point? Trying to get the base changes to properly run the system
