Hood liner for aftermarket hoods

So, what’re you guys using for hood liners for your aftermarket hoods? I will be getting mine soon and want to ensure that the wrap I’m going to put on it, doesn’t get messed up by underhood temps. I have long tubes that are not coated and I’m sure they’re putting off some serious heat.

I’ve thought about using some heat reflective material but, I think that would be a bad idea considering the underhood temps as is so, some sort of heat absorption would be more advantageous to my particular issue.

Oh, the hood will be aluminum, too so, that should play a factor into its heat conductivity.

i had a carbon fiber hood and i didnt use anything same with my old car no issues here but it was vented and at lights after driving for awhile you could literally see the heat coming out of the hood lol pretty crazy

Thanks. However, I don’t think that I should be without a hood liner considering my particular set of circumstances. Hopefully someone has undergone this on these forums.

I have an aluminum hood as well. Just got it painted, however I do plan do add vinyl in the near future. I'll be shopping around for a hood liner as well, if I find something I'll be sure to post up.
