I have seen several '19 SS in person (one up close and a few on the street) and I will say the front looks much, much better in person. Something about the angle of the photos make it look much rounder or softer, but in person it actually looks aggressive. I may actually like it better. The new rear looks great as well.
I can't wait to see more 1LEs. |

Oh wow, I like it. I believe it will look even more aggressive in person. I didn't appreciate the lines of the 2016-18 Camaro until I saw it in person. The black bits contrast nicely with the body color of the car. Thanks to the OP for posting. I've been waiting all year for a SS 1LE picture. As tempting as it may be to get the 10 speed, I'd rather have the looks/performance of the 1LE package all day.

There’s a blue ‘19 SS on AutoBlog with an emblem that clearly looks indented in the black bumper face, so is the Flowtie really a black bowtie? Chevy’s news release on the ‘19s says, “SS-specific front fascia with ‘flowtie’ bowtie grille emblem.”
So here’s the real question: Will there be 500 posts in this thread before this important issue is resolved? |

Well, hopefully it’s not too late to get it changed for the 7th gen.

More pix on the 1LE please. It looks much better than the previous versions IMO. And it does have an Optimus Prime look to it but the updated and more chiseled version. This version may appeal more to those who were on the fence with the current model. I like the current 1LE a lot and it is sweet looking but I would easily pick the 2019 over it every time.

Can someone photo shop the whole front black, curious to see what that would look like. The body colored side pieces in my opinion makes it look odd. Painting the black cross piece to match the car is a good idea, but I could hear it now

The hood vents are also more appealing for me on the 19'. I don't care for the dual ones on the current model. They look cheap as well as the vents just below the drls. And the 19 taillights are bad-ass.
