Diffuser/belly pan for the Z/28

We have had many request to make a diffuser for the Z/28 and we now have them. They are made of 040 aluminum and made TO WORK, it will keep the rear bumper from being a parachute and create a belly pan at the rear.
see it here. https://zl1addons.com/collections/ch...-z-28-diffuser

That is awesome, good way to improve aero for the track!

This is off topic, regarding the dive planes for the Z28.
Have these been tested on track? Or are they purely for show only? I ordered mine a few months back and will be getting around to installing them this weekend.
I'll be at the Roval in Fontana next weekend and should be hitting around 140mph so I wanted to double check

I just installed mines. i ordered the non-powdered coated version and painted it myself to save some $$.

install wasn’t too bad. it attaches to 4 existing screws by the lower part of the bumper and he provides you with a bracket and nut/bolt to attach to an existing hole by the cradle.

you can maybe do the install without jacking it up, but it’s a pretty tight fit!! i ended up using my quickjack. took about 30 mins or so.

I got mine the only problem I see is that the three diffuser fins are held on by sheet metal screws that are going to come loose and fall off onto the track along with the fins. I'm replacing mine with a machine screw and a nyloc nut.

Diffuser/belly pan for the Z/28

Wish there was something like this for the 5th gen (2010-2013) SS. I already have a aluminum front belly pan installed

ABS is very strong and I’ve road raced with this and not a single issue. Pretty stout!
