LT5 Supercharger
I know that th ZR1 was just announced but, I wonder if any vendors on here will attempt to retrofit this onto our LT1’s. I know there were a couple of one-off’s done of the LS9 supercharger on an LS3 so, here’s to hoping!
For those who don’t have the specs on it, it’s an Eaton 2.9L—that’s all I know for now.

While it's a cool idea to put one of these on when they come out, I want to see the torque curves first. Unless you're all in, the 2300 may still be the better choice for 90% of us mere mortals. As a really general statement, the 1700 Eaton makes torque early and falls off on the top end with the 6.2 liter engine, and the 2300 is pretty flat across the RPM range, so a speculation would be that the 2650 would have a rising torque curve throughout the RPM range for this displacement. But the 2650 is an improved design, so my rough analysis could be flawed. |

Ed your thinking is correct, the TVS2300 is probably the right blower if you're looking for up to ~1000HP. Over 1K and the 2650 opens up new opportunities for the TVS PD aftermarket.
As for retrofit of the OEM 2650 to earlier vehicles, there are a few hurdles to overcome which may not make it an attractive solution. First will be volume, LT4 engines are built at a rate of 15K/year which drives the SC part cost down. ZR1 will probably be a fairly low volume unit - I'd guess similar to the C6 ZR1 version. Finally once these cars surface we might find some control issues with the OEM 2650 SC that will bring additional cost and complexity. It is an awesome car that I would love to have, haven't seen any pricing yet, but since i have to ask, I probably already know the answer...
