Good runs! Great MPH. With those MPH's and a better 60' you can get into the 10.60's; maybe 10.50's (With you in the seat - Ha!). Good going.

Don't know what is going on in Merc's personal life, but I sincerely hope he and his are doing well. There have been at least two offers to take this over, with nothing but crickets. If and when this is turned over to someone with the administrative authority to access the spreadsheets AND update the website; then, it can get back on track.

Thanks guys . Ya I’m just posting it . I figured nobody was really updating the list . The car went a best of 10.81 with me in it. I can’t wait to put the converter in it . It’s sitting in my garage . All these shops are busy around here so gonna have to wait a couple of weeks .

As far as tuner times posted instead of being done by the actual member, agree that has been done, I do know of one lying sack of shit who submitted a tuner time as if he was the one who did it. At that time it was mentioned in another thread that some other liars were already in the list, but their identities were hidden by those in the know. This stuff is supposed to be by honor system, so these lying sacks of shit, with their obvious lack of honor, do put something of a stain on the list. To be clear, I'm not applying the liar badge to Duramcr1 at this time, because he already admitted in this thread that the best timeslip was done by a smaller person (not by him). |

Thanks for the reply; good points. I'm not going to split hairs or argue this point too much because I, too, noticed that word "your". That could imply your car, your entry fee, you signed the tech card, you were driving, it is a Gen6 Camaro ..... Just would be better if it were all spelled out. Off topic, but maybe related is what is a FBO car in the first place. Could be a completely gutted tin can on wheels weighing 2800 lbs. as of right now. There are a lot of different opinions. How do you end up with well defined, generally accepted rules in something that had its beginnings in grudge racing? Probably impossible. I know what I would "like" for purposes of fast lists. Start with the NHRA Street Legal rules and go from there. Licensed, inspected, street legal. The power adder guys are having similar discussions about TH400 and PG transmissions. Is it a still a Gen6 Camaro if it has one of these??? Don't ask me, all I know for sure is these are amazing cars and loads of fun.

Wnta1ss, I have video of the 3 fastest passes . It’s not rocket science . My car only has 3000 miles, I would never strip it . Pulled the swaybar , seats, lightweight battery, dragpak, all that Is worth 200lbs or maybe a little more . That’s as far as I’m going for weight reduction . No reason why any other car should not be goiing just as fast . I have no secrets . I’ve told almost everybody that asks me my combination. I tell people to pull the sway bar and aluminum pan to make the car weight transfer better and most don’t listen. Anyway I wasn’t aware of the rules . Sorry about breaking them.

My C7 was 45 lbs lighter after I replaced the Stock exhaust MF and cats with 1 7/8 Speed Engineering Long tubes/xpipe. I did not replace the rest of the exhaust. Going from the 2" to 3" pipe plus the larger diameter LTs just didn't let you achieve your goal of losing some weight.

Great pass Murph but I think you wasted your money on the that converter. I believe you could have run just as fast or faster with the stock converter. Dam wicked pass my Maggie friend. Congrats
