I can do the install myself - capability wise but, time will be the deciding factor. My schedule is...different so, finding the time to knock out that kind of task is tricky. The only real hindering aspect to that is getting another tune squared away before driving it back and forth to work, again. Therein, the cost exceeds $800 because of the tune if nothing else. I've certainly entertained heads, though.

Maybe I'll keep that one on the table. What're the average gains on heads over stock? 25?

With the right tune and maybe the valvetrain changes and cam 50+ at least.... maybe even more, the tune is the factor. Maybe you save some more and do it all together as a next step. Just wait a Little longer and do it right.... time flies anyway
