That looks pretty nice George!! Just on my "mounting flanges", they were about a half inch shorter than yours are, and angled OUTWARDS more as well, but yours will work where they are. They will be just like the "old school" dumps we used to put on our old school cars just before the rear end and dump there. Also, don't know if you noticed, but there is a bolt on the passenger side that is pretty long and might interfere with the actuator when installed, but looks like you took that into consideration. I cut mine shorter, the bolt that is. Looks good so far! Oh, and mine aren't angled downwards as much as yours are. They are pretty even with the main exhaust, but you are NOT lowered, so you should be alright.

Shorter...? Really...?
And I even shortened them more than 2 inches as you told me in post #39.
I shortened them by 3" plus countersinking into the pipe

Now they are roughly in the direction to the rear wheels.

I know about the screw. But it's far enough and doesn't mind.
So it's okay.

I had to angle the flanges down. If I lined them up flush with the exhaust, I'd hit the floor. The clearance between the floor and the cutout is about half an inch.

Hope it will be enough. I don't know how much the engine moves relative to the body.

That all looks good. I forgot that you only had 2.5 piping on your exhaust, so you would not be able to make them level like my 3.0 tubing. But yea, mine mounting flanges are pretty short, and cut at an angle to have them flow outward a bit to the side of the car, and not straight back under the car. But all in all your setup looks great!! Gonna be loud. I would have taken some pics of mine for ya when you started, but access to a lift for me is not an option unless I'm having some work done on the car. Heck, I can't even get under there to take pics she is so low.. The minor technocalities at this point don't really matter, you're almost there!! But good job, gonna be loud!!

Ah... So I misunderstood
But in the final it probably won't matter.
An inch longer or shorter....

Yes, I have 2.5", so a little less space.
I cut a hole through half the pipe

Now only weld it and exhaust go back under the car.

Where is the ideal place to get through the blind cap (?) into the cabin with the cables?

Is there a next plug under the heat shield?

That looks good, nice cuts! On running the cables, we ran mine over to the side rail along the under body, inside there and back out to the rubber plug that is located directly under the seats and up through there, poked a hole in it and sealed ot with silicone afterwards and under the carpet. Hope that works for you.

I ended up cutting the holes with an angle grinder.
As is my habit, I buy something, I want to use it for the first time in a few months, and of course it doesn't work (plasma cutter)
...but it doesn't look bad.

Side rail has 2010 as well. I'll do it same.
I assume it will be this plug.

At least it seems to me that it is offered as the best option towards the end of the center console where I have the remote control.

Well, that's probably all.
All questions have been answered.
Now I have to weld the flanges and put it back on the car.

The dice were cast.
Now just hoping that everything will fit well and work as it should.

Thanks for all the advice bro

Looks amazing brother!! Just make sure to either wrap or shrink wrap the plugs so they don't vibrate loose on you like mine did a few times. Great work!! And you are most welcome.. Glad to help..

Yes I understand.
But I will wait until I have the exhaust back on the car if I need to move the wires forward or backward so let them still be free.

I'll get around to welding tomorrow or the day after. Then it will only be a matter of a few hours and it will be done.

I'm just concerned about the variety of flange and exhaust materials.
Steel/Stainless steel... The joint of these materials will be extremely susceptible to corrosion. So I wonder how long it will last.

Cool.Mine has been on the car for 3 years now, I think. After we welded mine up to the exhaust, the shop sprayed the welds and around the tubing with some anti corrosion spray paint/ rust inhibitor, to prevent any. Getting closer to LOUDNESS!! lol.

I tried aluminum spray paint.
So hopefully it will last a while. I didn't believe I could do it, but everything is ready under the car.
All that remains is to comb and store the wires near the center console and finally cover it.
It seems to be done.
