I have 3.0 on all the the system, which helps move things down some. Mine clears the rail by about 1/2 inch, you could also move them in closer to the center of the car on the pipes.
I have 2.5" pipe. So I don't have that much clearance.
I also that I would like the engines facing outwards.
They wouldn't be exposed to heat as much, and by being able to move them closer to the center of the car, there wouldn't be a tendency to "backfire" and slow down the exhaust gas in closed mode.

Yesterday I programmed the remote control to the HomeLink in the car so it works now and now I'm working on the ideal flange length.

The shorter it will probably be, the smaller the bag of exhaust gases will be created there. But again to not be too close because of the heat.

Oh, and one more thing...
How do I get to the 12V socket under the armrest? Do I slide it out or do I have to disassemble the entire console?
I tried to take her out but she wouldn't go and I didn't want to use violence.

Thanks for the help bro

Awesome bro, just take your time, measure, position and check it twice before you cut and weld anything! To get to the 12v power socket you have to pull the console lower side panels off, they just clip on and off, then you will see 2 screws on either side at the back of the console holding on the rear cap of the console, take them out and remove the rear cap, there you can access the power outlet. Then put it all back together. Good luck.

Everything was exactly as you wrote me. Thanks bro!
You helped me a lot

I was looking for an ideal place to place the remote control unit where it will not be in the way and at the same time it will be reasonable to get to the possible replacement of the motor control fuse.
I finally came up with this.

So the wiring is done and tested - it works as it should and now I will start cutting and welding.

Thanks again to 1JEWLDSSRS for your great help and patience in answering my questions. I owe you a good beer

Very awesome my brother, and you are welcome!! And remember, when you are doing your measuring and positioning, check it TWICE before you do any cutting because you can't put it back on after you cut it off. lol. Then weld it all up, attach the actuators, hookem up and ENJOY the loudness!! Good luck and have fun. .. And you don't owe me anything, just glad I could help you out.

Bro, I'm not done yet.
I have the flanges in the CNC shop and I'm waiting for the machines to be free so I can do the alignment flanges to the exhaust manifold.

Once I have it ready I will trace the flanges, cut the holes and weld the flanges in place.
Then it will just be a matter of connecting the drives and the control unit.

Don't worry, you'll be the first to know when the job is done
I am looking forward to it so much

You know how I mean

Thank you.
Whenever I do something, I want it to be precise and as well done as possible. That's probably why it's taking me so long .
But then again, you will be pleased when they praise you for both the idea and the execution of the work itself.

I want to mark it, trim it evenly and smooth it - I'll see how it goes with the welding, but if there is a free TIG welding machine I will do it this metode.

Simply, even though according to our legislation it must not be there, so that when someone see it, they say "yeah... that's just great!"

Nothing wrong with being "precise" in what you want to do!! Especially with a custom install..

I can get back to installing after I get back from vacation.

The flanges are shortened and adapted to the diameter of the exhaust pipe.

Today or tomorrow I would like to mark the mounting points, remove the exhaust from the car, cut the holes and get it ready for welding.

Thanks... But it's taking me a long time.
While you have it done in the morning, I have been struggling with it for days.

Here is the sequel...
It's more than carefully measured, with about half inch between the floor and the highest point of the cutouts.

I'm going to try to clamp it in a milling machine and cut an absolutely perfect shape for the flanges and weld it with some nice weld pattern.
