My friend has it with some Roush modification about 360 HP and the car is just phenomenal! I probably wouldn't sell that

From what I've seen the vvt seems to fill in the torque area between off idle to 2-3000 rpm. The ls3 doesn't have that area covered like the l99 vvt does which makes a big difference on getting off the line so to speak. It's also makes for more of a sporty feel when cruising since most of your driving is around 15-3000 rpm. I did a GPI SS1 vvt cam last year and absolutely love it. It's been fun but now I'm going to the SS3 vvt cam!

Nowadays, with a rich offer of aftermarket parts, a quality chassis is a matter of one purchase. And now I speak from my experience. I bought the stage 1 TVS package along with the full kit polyurethane mounts and you can't imagine how much of a change it was even using the classic 15" wheels. This car is absolutely amazing! And together with the 400 HP Stroker 383 cui it is a very fun car. If it works out, I will buy a Tremec TRX five-speed manual for it at the end of the year. And then it will be a complete toy. And I stand by the fact that a top-tuned rigid axle will be faster on a flat surface than an independent suspension

376 cubic inches of fun

L99 beats LS3 on the drag strip. Reason? Flat torque curve of L99 beats peak HP of LS3.
In real life situations, flat torque curve will always feel faster than peak torque at impossibly high rpm. |

L99 400 HP, 410 ft./lbs. LS3 426 HP, 420-428 ft./lbs. The numbers speak clearly in favor of the LS3 engine
