How to play music in the camaro with the car off?

On the 2016 camaro when the car is off the music turns off after a couple minutes and it's annoying. I've tried with they key inside or outside, either with close door or open and nothing.

Has anybody find a way to listen to music with the car off?

press and hold the ignition button about 8 seconds.. that's like clicking your key to the acc in the old days.. Don't step on the brake.. just press the button and the green ring light will come on. good to go

Just hit the stereo power button and you'll get 10 minutes of radio play. When it shuts off hit the stereo power button again. Key has to be in the car.

The other option with a manual trans is to hit the start button without the clutch depressed. Perhaps different with an auto trans.

This is a great question... went to the drive in last summer and couldn't figure it out! Did not plan on going back because it was such a hassle.

Reading the owners manual seems to be an issue for some.

This is called "service mode". Turns on all vehicle electronics, including the stereo, until you turn them off again.

Beware - it will drain your battery quicker than accessory mode or hitting the radio button over and over again. Just keep an eye on things.

Exactly - like turning your key to the 'run' position, not the 'acc' position.

The radio has additional 10 minute extensions by pressing the power button, I was told GM calls this garage mode. That is all I use on mine, the wifes Audi works the same way as well.

Be careful just how long you leave the radio on. Last summer I left the radio playing at a low level while I polished/waxed my 2013 ZL1, took about 5 hours.

tried to start the car afterwards, but no luck. Let the car sit for an hour, then it would start.

you don't want to put it on the start mode, it will turn on every module in the car while it is in that mode. Either push the radio button to get the additional 10 minutes or put it in accessory mode.
