Picked up and installed my Personalized Plates. I wanted to get FIFTY or F1FTY but of course those were taken.

My second choice was F1FTY RS but the California DMV rejected it as they do not allow using numbers to substitute for letters (someone already had FIFTY RS).

I may change my plate down the road (I had a dozen or so other ideas) but this will do for now

BTW, I'm open for suggestions on other plates.

Cool & Congrats!!! I'm definitely interested in this topic! With my long commute to work, people were suggesting I go PHEV or BEV (to get the carpool sticker in Calif)...but I'm still into full ICE engines!

Not saying I don't like modern automatics, I own 2 of them. The fun factor...for me...is with the manual transmission.

If a driver is unable to operate a manual transmission properly, then you are cutting yourself short on the driving experience.

If a person cuts theirselves short on something that easy, then just imagine what they dismiss due to the "that's old" or "autos are the new it" attitudes.

The Camaro is my first automatic car I own. I drove my entire life (34 driving years) shifter. and now I have 3 automatic cars

I fully agree with this post.

I too got manual for the fun factor, plus to me a muscle car screams manual. At least the old school classics do to me so I said why not with this one. I do know it’s a whole different world driving this vs the manual trucks I was use to/learned on.
