2017 1LE takes advantage of camming the LT1. Excellent power band for spirited drives and road course action.

HPA Stage II Camshaft, with Intake and Headers. 93 oct tune.

Not bad for 93...put some E85 in it and lets see 520whp. That being said it would be hard for me to not port the heads since they have to come off the block for the lifter swap in order to run the Cam.

OP What would be required on top of headers and cam to hit 520 or higher w/out E85. Only 93 is available in my area and I would like to do the same to my 6th gen 1LE

You'd probably hit it with ported heads, ported MSD, and ported 95mm TB.

What is an alternative to porting the stock heads? Any manufacture in particular?

ported MSD IM and Heads would take you to 550whp on 93. Ported stock castings are very capable...there is a NA car in the 9's with them.

That's really what I'm looking for. I think the biggest road block is finding a reputable shop/tuner to put all that in and tune something safe. Doesn't seem to be much in NE Ohio.

This guy has ZERO internal mods, just bolt-on's. I bet this car is making well over 600h.p.
