Battery maintainer & Charger permanent install
This is for installing a permanent charge port on your Camaro, so I can charge without popping the hood everytime. I am using Noco parts to hooked up to a Noco Genius1, 1 amp battery maintainer, but this will work for most battery tenders that use SAE style plugs also.
I am installing on the leads under hood near the fuse box that the manual recommends for this purpose. Warning: Don't be stupid, and touch the positive and negative at the same time or anything like that to accidently hurt yourself. Unhook the battery to be safe. (I didn't, but I've gotten pretty good at not killing myself when working on a car). You could also damage the car and cause a short if you don't do everything right. I'm not going to hand hold, just explain what I did. I needed a 13mm wrench and a 13mm socket. The Noco Genius1 comes with one set of connector clamps, and the clamps are connecting to the wires with a copper screw through a 6 mm eyelet. The 6mm eyelet will NOT fit over the + or - stud circles on the pictures, so I also needed a NOCO cable set with 10mm eyelet( GC008 ). Actually, I drilled the opening on the 6mm to about 9 mm because I didn't want to wait, but the best thing is to buy the 10 mm eyelet cables. The copper is easily deformed and broken if you drill, I used VERY light pressure and took my time when I got it to drill well. First, I pulled these tabs outward and lifted up on the plastic piece on the side of the fuse box. Then used the 13mm socket to remove the left + nut, and the 13mm wrench to removed the right - "nut". I think put the eyelets on the stud, and put the nuts back on their respective studs, and tightened them. Then route the wire to everywhere you wish. The included cable will not be long enough, if using NOCO you will need the GC004 extension cable to route it to a location where you don't have to pop the hood. You can feed it below or next to the headlights to the grille, or up to the cowl below the windshield. I'll choose windshield so it is less visible over all, and I don't have to fish it from behind the grille. I slid the plastic cover back over the + side of the fuse box. Here is the finished result I ran the extension cord along the inside of the passenger fender The green circles are where I secured it with a Velcro strap. The one by the fuse box is for the connectors, the ones at the hood strut mount is for the cords' excess wire. The yellow circle is where caution is needed so the wires aren't going to be in contact with the hood hinges. Some may wish to secure it in that area also. The plug under the rail near the fuse box It exits near at the cowl water drain. The NOCO connectors come with supposedly waterproof caps. With flash I can now maintain the battery without popping the hood And finished view with the hood up.

I like it, as someone who rides in the summer and leaves the Camaro parked for 5-12 days at a time I may do this.
BTW the yellow one looks to be low on coolant.
