Well, finally broke down and purchased a PS4. After having a PS3 for 4yrs, Im really torn on what I think about the 4.

PROS:
Mic seems much better.
Can switch between programs quicker.
Graphics.
FFXV(soon)
And, NFS.
Controller...I LOVE the controller!!!



CONS:
HOLY DOWNLOAD TIME, BATMAN!
Gets warm.
Paying for online play(Thanks Xbox....)
That "Blue light of Death" and everyone's appeasement by simply unplugging the power supply. Im sorry....a $400 product should not be able to skate by with the solution being to simply "unplug it for 30seconds".
Only NON space warrior COD game on this system is Ghost.

What do yall think about it? I had issues the 1st day or so, but they may had verywell been USER errors, since it is such a different OS than my PS3.

The only reason I bought one was to play Uncharted 4. I now watch a lot of netflix on it. I have no complaints about it. I had a PS3 prior and it beats it in every way.

Now I'm waiting on Days Gone to come out.

I recommend battlefield 4 if you want a good shooter. So far my favorite game is Destiny.

I've never had the "blue light of death" on mine. sounds faulty. love my PS4 and I was an xbox guy up until this gen

I've had my PS4 for a couple years now, no issues yet. I bought it for Arkham knight. I would use it as my standard streaming device, but I can't stand the way the media remote clicks when buttons are pushed.

Just in case anyone else is having/later has any issues. Ive concluded that it is an overheat issue. It just straight shuts down on me and then will not turn back on. Ive moved it to the top if my Entertainment center, put it on its side with a stand w/intergated fans, and after 5hrs of Netflix and 5hrs straight of gaming, it only shut down on me once. But it turned back on w/out any issues. Oddly, my buddy says his warns him of a possible overheat condition? Mine gives no warning. So..... Just throwing out some info if anyone else has similar issues.
