2019 3LT (Grim)

The very first thing I did after taking ownership was getting the windows tinted. Shortly after that I plastidipped the badges, engine cover and fuse box. Here is a before and after.
BEFORE:

And AFTER:

Here is an album here of a closer look at the plastidip work under the hood: https://imgur.com/a/3r0UMDw

Currently doing my interior air vents with plain red, will do the center console bezel as well, and the front inlets on the grill. I want it to match the adrenaline red interior.

I have run all the wiring in the car for a sound system, and have an old temporary setup right now which bumps surprisingly loud. I just have to cut out some stuff under the floor of the trunk to make room to mount everything out of sight and get a new sub and amp in.

I will update this as I go along.

CURRENT MODS:
Window Tint
Custom RS badges
Custom punisher skull side badges
Plastidipped bowties
Plastidipped interior pieces
Plastidipped fuse box and engine cover
Dash cam
Flowmaster Exhaust - ~1,000 miles
Stock resonator replaced with X pipe ~2,000 miles
Primary cats replaced with high flow cats ~4,600 miles
AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake - ~1,400 miles
Diode Dynamics smoked sidemarkers
Red LEDs in grill, behind bowtie
Overkill tune ~5,000 miles
Installed subwoofer (Sundown SA-12 v2)
Color changing LED boards by LightingTrendz

FUTURE MODS:
Plastidip lower grill inlets.
red caliper paint
Wrapping the car

NOTES:
6/10/19 - Finally hit 1,500 miles, did first oil change. (Mobil1 Extended Performance)
9/18/19 - Got the Overkill tune!
10/12/19 - 7,500 miles, oil change. (Mobil1 Extended Performance)
11/12/19 - hit 10,000 miles with an overall average of 27.1 MPG.

Car looks good! So is 3lt offered in both the V6 and turbo 4?

Thank you! "For 2019, 3LT comes with standard 3.6L V6" but selecting the turbo 4 is still an option.

Gotcha. I have a 18 1LT V6 myself. As far as exhaust goes, the more and more I keep hearing it, I really like the Flowmaster especially for the price.

Its so hard to find real comparison videos. They all sound different even when recording the stock exhaust, and all from different distances and angles. But they sound pretty close, enough to where I know Id be happier with either one. And if I can save over $200 by going flowmaster, thats probably going to be my choice.

Yep I totally agree with that. Also, I live out by MRT as well, and have known Scott the owner for many years. I have ran their exhaust systems back in the day on my Mustang. They make very high quality systems that sound great. Not the cheapest but very very good quality

I looked into the MRT v1, which was slightly cheaper than or about the same as my other options, but its a bit too loud, and a lot of people complained about the drone. So my other option for MRT was the v2. This is alright, but its price point is above the Flowmaster American Thunder which I think sounds better. (at least from what I can tell from online videos)

In my experience the best way to tell is to check out local car shows and whatnot that are more Camaro specific. I own a built 2000 Camaro as well, and belong to a local Camaro club. I've heard a few 6th gen V6's in person and IMO the Flowmaster sounded the best over the Borla and Magnaflow I heard

I have been to several local car shows, but the only people with camaros around here have either heavily modded SS and ZL1s or bone stock 4 and 6 cylinders. But I will probably end up going with a flowmaster if I can wait for a good deal.

Right now I am finishing up the interior pieces now. This will be all 4 air vents, and the center console bezel. Ill post finished pics tomorrow.

That will look nice! I've done a few visual mods as well, but nothing big. Tinted the tail lights, black bowties in the center caps, changed emblems, etc...Trying to save around 3k for a rear end for my 2000 SS lol

Wow that looks really good and it matches very nicely as well. Can you tell me the paint and color codes you used and also the process? I've looked at some of the pre made ones on ebay and stuff the red looks like a different shade and doesn't really match with the adrenaline red interior.

Yeah I definitely did not try hard at all on this. This is the regular red plastidip, just a few light coats. Nothing special here at all. I was so surprised how well it matched. And the best part is, its completely removable if I ever change my mind later.

If you want to know how to remove each piece I can tell you, wasn't very difficult at all. Just popped them out at night, painted it, and back in the next morning. Piece of cake.
